Early in the month of April, Sally participated in the school talent show.  She danced to Little Brown Gal, a hula she began practicing in January with the help of Auntie Gloria's Hula school.  It was fun to see her dance for the both the school assembly and the parent evening.  Such a brave girl to dance in front of so many people!

 

Mid-month we enjoyed a great family vacation in Tempe, AZ at the Arizona Grand Resort.  It was a hit with a 7 acre water park including a toddler splash pool, a wave pool, a lazy river, and a large water slide.  Sally was too short to go on the slide, but Erik and John were brave enough to try it- once.  They said once was plenty.  Wedgie city!

We also enjoyed catching up with friends Jan, Richard and their boys at our favorite sweet spot in Old Scottsdale- the Sugar Bowl.  And we were able to visit with Paige, Jesse and Dot- riding a carousel and a little frozen yogurt. 



We love all the wonderful things in Arizona!
